![]() ![]() There is very good quality evening entertainment every day but not many people stayed up late during our stay - like us preferring early nights and up early to enjoy the day. We didn't have a problem with the menu - always finding something to choose - but we do think that now they are marketing the hotel fully at top prices they will find guests expecting steaks etc and more elaborate desserts. There are two restaurants - one is Asian and we did eat there one evening - the meal was good but we preferred to be in Seascape with the sound of the waves. There are free water sports though due to large waves and high tides they couldn't operate on 3 days - neither could the free water taxi to 3 other Elegant resorts but when it does that's a great resource taking you right along the coast - well worth the trip. She never stops! The beach is beautiful and we never used the pool (the main pool is in the complex on the other side of the road) as we love to swim in the sea and walk along the coast (you can walk a long way heading North). Couldn't name them all but our favourite was the lovely Pamela who is one of the ladies who provides drinks, cold towels and frozen fruit while you laze on your sunbeds. Our room was ocean-front, ground floor so in addition to our private balcony we had direct access to the main balcony deck which we regularly used in the early evening to watch the amazing Caribbean sunsets. The hotel has been beautifully renovated recently by Elegant Hotels. We have just returned from our holiday at Waves. ![]()
